eShipGlobal is committed to sustainability, to the environment, as well to avoiding unnecessary transportation. Societal efforts need to meet the needs of the present without compromising meeting the needs of the future. Corporations, along with federal, state, and local governments, as well as institutions of higher education are increasingly directing their attention to sustainability. All recognize that the earth's resources are finite and awareness is mounting that sustainability must be a factor in all of their efforts.
eShipGlobal has taken important steps to its commitment to protect the environment. We are a web-based, "paperless" solution that eliminates waste and furthers customer's "go green" efforts. The elimination of paper invoices from the shipment process is a prime example.
At eShipGlobal we are also working with the SmartWay Transport Partnership group within the EPA to help achieve the greenhouse gas reduction goals in freight transport. By managing the transport carriers through our solution, our customers can additionally promote their sustainability efforts by helping to reduce their carbon footprint.
