Implementation

By utilizing a proven delivery model, our Delivery Team can rapidly deploy a basic on-demand shipping functionality in as little as 15 days by utilizing a methodical implementation approach:

  1. Project Kick-off
    A preliminary roll-out strategy and project plan is developed, which defines the project scope and a detailed work plan.
  2. Understanding Current Business Requirements
    The team gains knowledge of the customer's current process to begin mapping future state workflow.
  3. Future State Workflow
    The functional and technical workflow of information is defined. The system is setup to suit the customer's future state workflow environment.
  4. Training
    User training occurs for all user levels of the system.
  5. Testing - Beta
    The process and data workflows are setup and proven in a test environment using the customer's data. The customer performs a Conference Room Pilot to give a final 'thumbs up' before go-live occurs.
  6. Go-Live
    Initial roll-out, with continued phased volume and functionality over time.

Training

Prior to going live on the system, we train both administrators and users to ensure maximum value from its use. This includes:

  1. Standard web-based training on all on-demand TMS modules - set-up and tactical use
  2. Standard web-based training courses created especially for System Administrators, Super Users, Regular Users (Vendors, Suppliers, Customers) and Carriers
  3. Custom training via customized online courses, instructor-led web casts or on-site classes
To date, thousands of users have completed a training course. A typical training course takes 30 minutes to complete for the average user.
