eShipGlobal announced today that it is releasing a new service, eShipLab(SM) for helping labs and EHS departments manage
the transport of regulated and non-regulated laboratory research materials and specimens from origin to destination.
This service enables labs to achieve their objectives safely and in compliance, which is especially important when shipping
hazardous materials and dangerous goods. This software as a service includes compliance checks to help avoid costly risk
and delays in shipping of biological materials as well as addresses the complex regulatory environment of international shipping.
For both importing and exporting, the appropriate checks for regulations, permits, and certifications are done to ensure regulatory
compliance with agencies such as the DOT, USDA, and the IATA. The service also provides interface with various lab databases,
such as for Type A certification training, to help avoid costly errors and prevent shipping when all the various labs rules and
parameters aren’t met. Leveraging the power of eShipLab allows lab organizations to perform with much higher accuracy, efficiency
and responsiveness while promoting the highest level awareness, compliance, and safety through automating the lab shipping process.
